The Split Screen feature, also known as Dual Screen, Multi Window or Split View, allows users to simultaneously open two applications on the same screen. If you are a Samsung A14 5G user who is not familiar with activating split screen, you can follow these steps.
Turn On Multi Windows All Apps
The first step, go to the Settings app then look for a menu called Advanced Features. Then select Labs and enable the Multi Window for all apps option. Optionally enable the Full screen in split screen view option as well.
Open Recent Apps
After that, open one of the apps that you want to split screen and then tap the Recent Apps Menu button (three-line icon) at the bottom of the screen.
Select Open in split screen view
Next, on the recent apps page, you select the app that will be in split screen mode and then tap the app icon at the top and select the Open in split screen view option.
Adjusting the Split Screen Size
Now the screen will automatically be split in half, you just need the second app to occupy the bottom space.
By default, both app panels will occupy the same area on the screen. You can change the panel size of each app to suit your needs. Tap the three-dot icon in the center of the screen, then drag up or down to increase or decrease the panel size.
How to Split Screen Via Edge Panel

- Open the Settings menu on your Samsung phone.
- After that, enter the Display menu.
- Next, find and activate the Edge Panel.
- Now open the Recent Apps menu as in the first method.
- Then tap the app icon and tap Open in split screen view.
- After the screen is in split mode, please open the Edge Panel by swiping from the edge of the screen, a panel containing the application will appear.
- Next, just drag the desired application to the bottom space.
If you want to close the split screen, simply drag the divider between the two apps to the top or bottom depending on which app you want to keep.
