Although equipped with the ability to change wallpapers, unfortunately Oppo smartphones do not allow you to create live wallpapers from videos in the gallery.
But don’t worry, because in the Play Store we find many special applications to make video wallpapers that are compatible on all Android phones including Oppo.
Live Wallpaper Oppo
We can easily apply Live Wallpaper because Oppo itself has provided some pretty cool live wallpapers for us to use. So it is possible to make live wallpapers without an application on Oppo phones.
- First go to the Settings menu on your Oppo.
- Then select Home Screen & Lockscreen.
- Then tap Set Wallpaper.
- Next tap Live Wallpapers.
- Select one of the available live wallpapers.
- Continue to apply on Home Screen and Lock Screen.

One way to make a live video wallpaper with sound is to use the Video Wallpaper app made by ZipoApps. Please refer to the following steps.
- Open the Google Play Store and install the Video Maker Live Wallpaper application.
- Run the application then select Try Limited Edition.
- Allow all requests for access to photos and storage.
- Next tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner.
- Then select Local video then find the video in the gallery that you want to set as an animated wallpaper.
- Next, enable the Turn on Audio option if you want the video wallpaper to have sound.
- Click the Set as launcher wallpaper button at the bottom.
- Finally, tap Home Screen & Lock Screen.
For better results, you can edit and trim the video first using various mobile editing apps now available on the Google Play store. You can also resize or enhance the interaction by enabling the Double Tap feature to start/pause the video.
Wallpaper Video Tiktok
For those of you who want to use videos from Tiktok as live wallpapers with sound, please follow the steps below.
- Install an application from the Play Store called Wallpaper for TikTok.
- Now open the TikTok app then search for the video you want to make wallpaper.
- Once found, tap the arrow icon to the right then tap Save Video.
- The next step is to open the Wallpaper for TikTok app.
- Then tap Menu on the top right side.
- Please tap Local Video and select the video you want to use for the live wallpaper.
- Set the sound volume to your liking and after that apply then select Set for Desktop.
Now the live wallpaper that you have made, can be shown off to friends on social media. You can send screenshots of the Oppo screen display to Facebook or Instagram.
